If Images for android applications
The above image contains three images of a concept house. On the left is a concept drawing done by hand using Penup by Samsung. On the right is a graphic created entirely by functions from proprietary software by thedailyprofanity.art. The right image does not require jpeg, png or any supporting image file resource to be displayed, these programmed graphics are referred to as 'If images'. The center image is the hand drawn image overlayed by the If image.
- If images work on all screen resolutions
- If images can be easily customized
- If images often have lower memory requirements in dynamic use cases
- If images are relatively small in size
Gemcut uses If images throughout. So if you are interested in seeing the potential of If images give Gemcut a try. Gemcut is available on Google Play.
Graphics Service
If you would like If images for your android applications contact reach@thedailyprofanity.art by email for a quote. Use the subject 'Graphics'. You will be expected to supply images that will be interpreted into If images. What you will receive is a java JAR archive file that will need to be added as a library dependency. These are perfect for android runtime (ART) projects. thedailyprofanity.art cannot promise an exact likeness between the If image and provided sample images, but will aim to achieve a good likeness. Not all images will be possible. When sending images for the service you acknowledge that you have ownership and/or the necessary rights to use the image for business or personal use or to have derivative works made of the image for your purposes. thedailyprofanity.art will use content sent by you to provide this service to you. Your content will not be shared with third parties with the exception of law infringement cases.
